Brought to you by Sheffield Hallam University

Join academic experts from Sheffield Hallam University to explore smart scheduling and the AI impact on decarbonisation.

About this event

Join Dr Hakan Ezgi Kiziloz, Research Fellow for Digital Innovation for Growth to explore how optimisation allows us to use our resources effectively to improve performance and efficiency.

The session will introduce the two main approaches employed in optimisation, followed by discussing a recent Knowledge Transfer Partnerships project on smart scheduling, in which the teams solution helped reduce the cost of travelling and helped with decarbonisation.

The talk will conclude with a video demonstration of the implemented system.
