Image Processing for Recycling Fibres to Reinforce Concretes
Brought to you by Sheffield Hallam University
Join academic experts from Sheffield Hallam University to explore computer vision techniques for image processing and machine learning.
About this event
Zero Waste Works Limited has used computer vision techniques to inspect recycled fibre reinforcement products, which can be used for 3D printing, precast, pavements, bridges, and buildings. The techniques use image processing and machine learning approaches to measure the lengths and widths of representative fibre samples. This project provides an opportunity to use cost-effective and non-intrusive computer vision solutions for the Quality Assurance process.
